The National Junior Honor Society introduces middle school students to the qualities of character and of personal and -academic accomplishment represented by the National Honor Society.

Builders Club is a middle school service organization that supports both Seton Catholic and the Kiwanis by providing middle school students an opportunity to discover their heart to serve in their school and in the local community.

Combining Seton’s emphasis on both academic excellence and service to others, Seton’s Peer Tutoring Program provides an opportunity for students who have mastered a subject to assist those who have questions or who are experiencing difficulty in the subject. It’s a great way for students to get one-on-one help in a friendly environment.

The Yearbook Club, part of the Graphic Design class, is tasked with creating the Seton Catholic yearbook, The Shield. Students design the pages, the artwork, and the content, and take the photos of clubs, sports teams, and school events.

The Seton Journalism Club gives those interested in journalism and writing an opportunity to develop their skills. The club produces the monthly school newspaper, The Knightly News, featuring news, opinion, fiction, and entertainment

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a business club that introduces students to careers in business and industry. This year, some of the members of FBLA will be competing in a business competition held at Plattsburgh State called Free Enterprise Marathon.

Student Council is in charge of organizing several events throughout the year, including homecoming week, dances, Catholic Schools Week events, the end of the year party, and various fundraisers.

Model U.N. is an extracurricular activity in which Seton students join with students from other schools to role-play delegates to the United Nations. This includes researching issues, debating, drafting proposals, and other activities. This year, Seton students will participate locally.

Faith Ambassadors is a group that leads faith-related activities. They sponsor events such as the lock-in (a supervised in-school sleepover), movie nights, coffeehouses (student-led entertainment), and the Mass & hike. Students also lead a variety of prayer services and faith-based events.

Seton’s Music/Arts Program offers individual and group instruction on a variety of instruments and musical styles, and welcomes students of all musical abilities. In addition to performing in both formal and informal settings, Seton music students are invited to take part in the annual Seton Musical production. This year we are presenting Guys and Dolls, Jr.

Seton’s diverse student body includes many foreign students who live with host families while they attend Seton. The International Club is a social and service organization that involves international students in the life of the school and the community.

Seton’s Book Club, part of the student counseling department, uses both fiction and non-fiction reading to introduce student to lives that may be very different from their own, with an emphasis on those teenagers who have lived with and, often, overcome challenges – of poverty, war, oppression, and other circumstances.
